    Jefferson County Long Range Planning has proposed a new section to the Zoning Resolution that specifies criteria for utilizing water. County officials generally approve any "proposal" presented by the staff.

    Notably Long Range Planning officials are attempting to submit for approval these potentially restrictive and expensive regulations for approval before the end of the year as new Commissioners will be installed at that point.

    It is important that you find time to attend the following Hearings so that you can be informed of land regulations that may impact your property.

    October 12, 7PM - West Jefferson Middle School

    October 13, 6:30 pm - Evergreen Lake House

    October 19, 6:00 pm - Jefferson County Adm Building
